Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 31 January 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and the purchase of any service packages, subscriptions, or other offerings (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Freelance Founders for Business Systems (“FFBS”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website, purchasing a package, clicking an “I agree” checkbox, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase our Services.

1) Company details

Legal Name: Freelance Founders for Business Systems
Address: Building 29, Road 6101, Block 361
Country of Domicile: Kingdom of Bahrain
Commercial Registration No. 194425-1

2) Definitions

  • “Client” means the individual or entity purchasing or using the Services.
  • “Order” means a purchase of a package/subscription via the website, invoice link, or any approved checkout method.
  • “Deliverables” means the outputs described in the package page, proposal, statement of work, or invoice (e.g., documentation, code, reports, workshops).
  • “Third-Party Services” means tools or platforms not controlled by FFBS (e.g., payment gateways, cloud providers, email services, code repositories).

3) Scope of Services

Service descriptions, package inclusions, timelines, and prices are shown on the relevant landing page, checkout page, proposal, or invoice. If there is a conflict, the order of precedence is: (1) signed statement of work/proposal, (2) invoice/checkout description, then (3) website package description.

Any work not explicitly included is out of scope and may require a separate quote, change order, or additional package purchase.

4) Orders, e-payment, and billing

We may offer checkout via Third-Party Services (e.g., card payments, wallets, bank transfer links). You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for your Order, including applicable taxes and fees where required.

If your package is a subscription/recurring plan, you authorize recurring charges at the stated interval until you cancel in accordance with these Terms and the subscription terms shown at checkout.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. We may suspend or cancel access to Services for failed, reversed, or overdue payments.

Chargebacks: If you file a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first and giving us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue, we may suspend ongoing work and/or access to deliverables until the dispute is resolved.

5) Pricing, taxes, and currency

Prices are listed in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) unless stated otherwise. Taxes (including VAT, if applicable) may be added at checkout or on invoices depending on your location and applicable law.

You are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or intermediary charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.

6) Delivery, timelines, and acceptance

Estimated timelines are not guarantees unless expressly stated as guaranteed in a signed statement of work. Timelines depend on scope clarity, your responsiveness, and timely provision of required inputs.

Unless otherwise specified, Deliverables are considered accepted when delivered via agreed channel (e.g., email, repository access, shared drive, meeting handover) or after ten (10) business days with no written rejection describing material non-conformity.

7) Client responsibilities

  • Provide timely access to stakeholders, requirements, assets, and systems needed to deliver the Services.
  • Ensure you have rights/permissions to provide any content, data, trademarks, or materials you share with us.
  • Review Deliverables promptly and provide consolidated feedback.
  • Maintain backups and security controls for your environments unless we explicitly manage them as part of the Services.

8) Revisions and change requests

Packages may include a defined number of revisions or support hours (as stated on the package page/proposal). Requests that change scope, add features, or require significant rework may be treated as a change request and billed separately.

9) Intellectual property (IP)

Client materials: You retain ownership of materials you provide to us. You grant us a limited license to use them solely to perform the Services.

Deliverables: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, upon full payment we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable license to use the Deliverables for your internal business purposes and for operating your products/services. If the Deliverables are custom and explicitly described as “work made for hire” or “assigned,” then assignment terms must be stated in a signed agreement.

Pre-existing materials & templates: We retain ownership of our pre-existing know-how, templates, frameworks, and reusable components. We may reuse general skills, ideas, and non-client-specific learnings.

Open-source software: Some Deliverables may include open-source components subject to their respective licenses. Those licenses apply to the relevant components and may impose obligations (e.g., attribution, source availability) depending on the license.

10) Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other. Each party agrees to use the other party’s confidential information only to perform or receive the Services and to protect it using reasonable care. Confidential information does not include information that is publicly available through no fault of the receiving party or independently developed without reference to the confidential information.

If you require a separate NDA, contact us before sharing sensitive information.

11) Data protection and security

Where we process personal data in connection with the Services, we will do so in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis to share any personal data with us.

Security outcomes depend on scope and agreed controls. Unless expressly included, we do not provide managed security monitoring, incident response, or regulatory certification services.

12) Prohibited use

  • Do not use the website or Services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or compromise the website, payment flows, or Third-Party Services.
  • Do not reverse engineer or misuse any restricted or proprietary materials we provide, except as permitted by law.

13) Third-Party Services and links

The website or Services may integrate Third-Party Services. We are not responsible for Third-Party Services, their availability, or their terms. Your use of Third-Party Services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

14) Refunds and cancellations

Digital/professional services: Because our packages are professional services and/or digital deliverables, all sales are final unless stated otherwise on the checkout page or in a signed agreement.

Before work starts: If you request cancellation before we start work (or before scheduling/booking time, where applicable), we may issue a refund minus non-refundable processor fees and any administrative costs, if any.

After work starts: If work has started, refunds are not guaranteed. At our discretion, we may offer a partial refund or service credit based on completed work, committed time, and delivered outputs.

Subscriptions: You may cancel future renewals at any time. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout.

Non-payment: We may pause or terminate Services for non-payment. You remain responsible for fees due for work performed and committed costs.

15) Warranties and disclaimers

We provide the website and Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We do not guarantee business outcomes, funding, profits, user growth, regulatory approvals, or specific technical results unless explicitly agreed in writing.

16) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FFBS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FFBS’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the website or Services will not exceed the amount you paid to FFBS for the specific Order giving rise to the claim during the last 12 months of fees paid under the relevant statement of work/order (or, for one-off packages, “the fees paid for that Order”).

17) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FFBS from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website/Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

18) Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., outages, strikes, governmental actions, supplier failures, internet disruptions). We will make reasonable efforts to resume performance.

19) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website or Services if you violate these Terms, misuse payment systems, or engage in unlawful activity. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations for Services already delivered or costs incurred.

20) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Bahrain shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

21) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
